After leaving our wonderful camp ground called Branches of the Niagara, we were off to visit Niagara Falls. After finding parking, not easy with a trailer, we took a good size walk to the falls themselves. We decided to pay a dollar for each of us to go into the observation deck to get a spectacular view the falls. Our main objective was to compare Niagara falls to the Shoshone falls which are nick-names the Niagara of the West. After viewing Niagara we all agreed that it is definitely more spectacular. The overall width of the falls seems to make the difference. Shoshone Falls were spectacular and the drop is definitely farther. After we were done seeing the falls we got back to our vehicle and traveled to Cedar Point amusement park. Once we were here we set up camp and went swimming. The campsite and the pool have a view of several of the rides in the park. While we were swimming we were also enjoying watching the rides and eagerly anticipating tomorrow.
